Shawn Hite

Shawn Hite, founder and lead trainer of PUP Assist, LLC, is a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and Combat Veteran with over 20 years of service. After his military career, Shawn pursued his passion for canine training, earning his certification as a Master Dog Trainer. 

 

His expertise spans scent detection, obedience training, and specialized roles such as bed bug, narcotics, and explosives detection, as well as search and rescue (SAR) training.

Lori Thompson

Lori Thompson, Shawn’s partner in PUP Assist, LLC, brings a diverse background in healthcare, staff management, and operations to the business. 

 

Additionally, Lori has several years of experience fostering dogs, which has significantly advanced her knowledge in various areas of dog behavior and basic training. Her hands-on experience with fostering has deepened her understanding of canine needs, making her an integral part of the PUP Assist team.
