Classes will meet every Tuesday evening from 6:00–7:00 p.m. for eight weeks.
This structured program helps handlers develop better communication, confidence, and control while teaching dogs practical obedience skills for everyday life.
Training will include:
*Proper leash handling and loose-leash walking
*Sit, down, stay, heel, and release commands
* Calm greetings and appropriate social behavior
*Managing distractions around people and other dogs
*Building confidence in unfamiliar environments
*Reading canine body language
* Strengthening the bond between dog and handler
Required equipment:
*Standard 4–6 ft. non-retractable leash
*Well-fitted flat collar or harness
* High-value training treats
*Treat pouch or reward bag
* Waste bags
*Water and a portable bowl
*Comfortable walking shoes for the handler
Class size is limited to five dog-and-handler teams so each team receives individual instruction and guidance. To reserve your spot a $50 deposit is required.
**Dogs displaying reactivity, fearfulness, or other behavioral concerns will be evaluated to determine whether a group-class environment is appropriate.
